What’s supernova
supernova is a product brand using "Corian® (artificial marble)" established by Sasaki Kogei. In 1976, a woodworking manufacturer that started from a very small factory in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, started making small craft products while valuing the material "wood". The techniques learned from making use of irregular offcuts have been honed while going back and forth between handwork and machine processing, and have undergone a unique evolution.
While environmental thinking is attracting attention as one of the major themes of modern society, the attitude of using the materials produced without waste and carefully processing them one by one has not changed since our founding. Such a group of craftsmen met with the new material "Corian®" and co-created it to create an unprecedented product series. The experience cultivated by processing "wood" fully brings out the charm of "Corian®" and presents a rich experience and new value.
